We’re Melissa and Jesse, the heart and hands behind Solara Sanctuary — a homestead and healing space built from love, reclaimed wood, and a deep desire to live in harmony with the Earth.
Before this chapter, we spent over a decade in the fast-paced world of business, leading our company Creative Global since 2009. We helped brands grow, launched movements, and inspired countless people to rise to their full potential. It was meaningful work — but eventually, we felt something stirring inside.
A call home.
After years of creating for others, we realized it was time to create something for humanity itself.
So in 2024, we followed that call and began building Solara Sanctuary — a place of renewal, sustainability, and simple living.
Here, our focus is on what truly matters:
🌿 Growing real food through our farm-to-table homestead
🔥 Creating intimate retreats that inspire healing and connection
🌞 Building a future summer camp for youth — a safe, imaginative space for creativity, life skills, and emotional growth.
Every board we raise and seed we plant is part of this new beginning — one that’s smaller, slower, and infinitely more meaningful.

Solara Sanctuary will be a small off-grid homestead nestled in the heart of nature. Right now, our hands are in the soil, our hearts are in the vision, and our mission is simple:
To grow clean, honest food and share it through farm-to-table experiences that nourish both body and soul.
Our Present Journey
We’re currently focused on creating a self-sustaining farm — raising animals, growing produce, and building from reclaimed materials. Every structure and seed is part of something larger: a return to living in harmony with the Earth.
Our Vision for What’s Next
Once the land thrives, we’ll open the doors to a small, intimate retreat center designed for deep rest, connection, and healing. Each retreat will have a focused intention — whether it’s renewal, creativity, or grounding — ensuring that every guest leaves changed from the inside out.
And in time, we’ll grow into our dream of hosting a heart-centered summer camp — a space where youth can reconnect with nature, learn essential life skills, and explore creativity in a safe, supportive environment guided by counselors and therapists.
